Upon entering the Dripstone Inn, the three adventurers head over to Es Sarch. “That was fast,” Es Sarch says in his low raspy voice.
“I think we are done for the night,” replies Yuriy. “May we get a room for the night?”
“Of course. And I’ll give you tonight for free, assuming you complete the tasks.” Es Sarch continues, “Bonedin will show you to your room.” A skeletal server approaches the group and waits for the party to face him. Bonedin then turns and heads up the stairs. The group follows. The landing yields to a small dark hallway with multiple doors off of it. Bonedin leads the group to the last door on the left, opens it, and enters the room. He walks over to a lantern and takes off the black hood to expose the continual flame inside. Cautiously, Yuriy enters the dimly lit room and is followed by Ky’mera and then Novak. Bonedin bows his head and leaves the room. There are four beds in the room and Novak moves to slide two of the beds together until he realizes that the beds are bolted to the floor. Grumbling, he sits on one of the beds. Ky’mera heads to the window and peers out to the dark city. The window faces north and Ky’mera can see a group of grimlocks picking on a lone Duergar only two blocks away.
